To be honest I purchased this album for Lee's hit song "I Don't Dance" and truthfully only from Walmart because this particular album came with a few extra tracks. I am happy to now be in the position to say that the album as a whole is a great testament to Lee Brice's musical prowess, his growing and expanding musical base, and his depth and range not only in vocals, lyrics, and song choice, but in musical pioneering as well.\n\nPutting "I Don't Dance" aside and thinking about the rest of the album there were a few songs that really struck a cord with me. The best I feel in the entire album goes to "Sirens." To me this encapsulates enough of the country feel to something Lee has been doing well for some time now--putting country on a fast-paced, kicking tempo. I have found myself listening to it non-stop and enjoying every heart-racing moment. Another knock out unknown for me was "My Carolina." I may be a bit biased to the songs that have rock roots, but this one has a simple musical backdrop to some of Lee's hardest sung lyrics. Each word sounds like it was really stressed, strained, and worked for which made this track an instant favorite for me.\n\nTwo other songs I particularly liked were "That Don't Sound Like You" which I found to be my emotional song behind his smash hit, and "Hard to Figure Out" which reminds me that musicians no matter how big can really have those life-changing moments that tell some of the best stories.\n\nThe one sour note for me was the more party song "Girls in Bikinis" which didn't jive with the rest of the album for me.\n\nSo what's the bottom line? Snag this album and enjoy it as there is so much musical talent in 16 tracks it can be scary.
